We are the Seminary Wives Fellowship (affectionately known as “SWF,” for short).
We are a mentoring group for the wives of our seminary students here at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA. We meet monthly, in small groups, which are mentored by several faculty wives and one (or more) SWF Leadership Team member. During our group meetings, there is time to share prayer requests, develop deeper relationships, and discuss various Bible passages that relate to personal development and preparation for future ministry.
Our purpose is to provide friendship, discipleship, and educational opportunities that will maximize the seminary experience and prepare for future ministry.
Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the Word of God. Titus 2:3-5
